The "Potash Company site" in Sodom, located south of the Dead Sea on Route 90, served as a labor camp for potash plants from 1934 to the early 1950s. It has been restored as an open-air museum accessible to all visitors, showcasing life and work in this isolated region. The site highlights the vision and determination of those who transformed the Dead Sea and shaped modern Israel's history. The visitor center, spanning the original labor camp area, features a variety of attractions, offering a diverse experience for a wide range of audiences.
